Jenna Gurtz

Jenna grew up in Buffalo Grove, IL and graduated from Penn State University in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science. While at Penn State, Jenna was a member of the Campus Weather Service, where she gained valuable experience in operational forecasting and weather communications. She also completed a summer internship, further developing her forecasting skills and experience analyzing weather data and patterns.

 

In her free time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her dogs, going to hockey games, and watching football, especially the Chicago Bears.
