FORECASTING SERVICES
Storm Warnings
Storm Warning Forecasts provide detailed information about approaching rain and thunderstorms and other unique weather conditions, including high winds. Our forecasts provide the data needed to make the best decisions about how to respond to these potential threats to operations. These warnings are provided at predetermined times before the storm enters the client’s area and are updated whenever the conditions change significantly. Meteorologists are available to discuss the possible scenarios and their impact on operations.
A typical warning is issued 2-3 hours before the conditions develop. Warnings contain information about the type, intensity, duration, and amount of precipitation; type, frequency, and intensity of lightning, temperatures and wind conditions before, during and after the storm, clouds and sunshine, weather following the storm, and most importantly, the impact of the storm on your operations.
The strength of this service is that it allows you to take appropriate measures from the outset, to prepare properly, and to respond in an appropriate fashion when needed.
