Case Study 1 - Upgrade of Meteorological Monitoring Equipment
A Nuclear Facility’s emergency and non-routine maintenance costs for their meteorological monitoring tower were increasing, largely due to the age of the existing equipment.
Murray and Trettel’s Field Services staff purchased and replaced all meteorological monitoring equipment, signal cables, power cables, junction boxes and miscellaneous hardware on the 300+ foot tower. Also replaced was the signal conditioning equipment and data logger stored in meteorological tower shelter. Over time, significant cost savings will be realized due to a reduction in non-routine and emergency maintenance.
